high-school-clubs

Every school has a club rush at the beginning of the school year. Students want to get into the best clubs so they can pad their profile for college. Plus, this is a good way to make friends and have a little extra fun during your high school years. Here are a few tips to help during the club rush so you can end up with the extracurriculars you need while still having a good time.

  • Find out about the clubs offered as soon as possible – You will want to learn what clubs are available so you can choose the best ones for you and apply before they fill up.
  • Attend the club’s initial meeting – Even from the start of the school year, you may have a busy schedule. So be sure to find out when the club’s initial meeting is and put it on your calendar. You don’t want to miss out on the club that best meets your needs because you forgot to attend the first meeting.
  • Bring a buddy – Convince someone you are already friends with to join a club with you. It’s perfect if you have a friend with similar interests.
