Sending SAT Scores:

  1. Access Your Account: Go to the College Board website and log in to your account.
  2. Select Your Scores: Navigate to the “SAT Scores” section and choose which scores you want to send. You can send all scores or select specific test dates.
  3. Choose Colleges: Search for and select the colleges or universities to which you want to send your scores. Each institution has a unique code.
  4. Submit and Pay: Review your selections, then submit your score report request. There is a fee for sending scores, though you get a limited number of free score sends if you use them within a certain period after taking the test.
  5. Deadlines: Be mindful of the colleges’ deadlines to ensure your scores are received on time. It usually takes about two weeks for scores to be sent.

Sending ACT Scores:

  1. Access Your Account: Log in to your account on the ACT website.
  2. Select Your Scores: Choose which test dates’ scores you want to send. ACT allows you to send scores from specific test dates.
  3. Find Colleges: Add the colleges you’re applying to by searching for their codes or names.
  4. Payment: Pay the fee for each score report request. Fees apply for each report sent.
  5. Review and Send: Double-check your order for accuracy, then submit your score report request. Allow at least two weeks for colleges to receive your scores.

Sending AP Scores:

  1. Access AP Scores: Log in to your College Board account to access your AP scores.
  2. Send Scores to Colleges: From your account, you can select the “Send Scores” feature. You get one free score send every year you take an AP exam, which must be used by a June deadline.
  3. Select Scores: Choose which scores you want to send. You can send your entire score report or withhold specific scores if you prefer.
  4. Find Colleges: Add the institutions by their codes or names.
  5. Submit Your Request: After reviewing, submit your request. If you’re sending scores outside of the free score send window, you’ll need to pay a fee.
  6. Timing: It’s important to send AP scores in early summer to ensure they’re considered for credit or placement.
