- Consider how long you intend to go to school – Not every course of study takes the same amount of time. If you want to get into the legal or medical fields, you need to be prepared to dedicate far more time and money toward your education.
- Consider future earnings – Does this major lead to careers with a good salary? Do many who graduate with this major struggle to find work? You want to be sure you don’t choose a field of study that will lead to a dead-end and a struggle to repay college loans.
